🍃THE
DEATH FOR THE DEAD 🍃
🌺If
our dead were not there -
sleepless
shadows,
who
would be in the dark to lead us?
An
absence overflowing,
a
pain present,
which
makes us human.
If
our dead were not there -
deep
well eyes,
where
would we get to see
face
to face against himself,
from
perseverance reproaches of conscience,
which
makes us humble.
If
our dead were not there -
silent,
smoldering voices,
who
would comfort our loneliness?
Bitter,
swallowed without the saturation,
sweet
smells of home,
who
make us children.
I
light a candle for the eternal memorial.
Until
we remember them, we are alive,
until
we cry for them, we are strong,
until
we look like them, we are real.
If
our dead were not there,
we
would be dead in our lives. 🍃✨🍃
