  • – Maintain a good hygiene

  • – Have regular haircut or shaving

The regular haircut or shaving will facilitate the maintenance of vaginal hygiene, coz the pubic hair retain bacteria and sweat.
  • – Let vagina to breathe with the right underwear

Use the right lingerie which will allow air around your vagina because, leaving the area damp leaves you open to a bacterial invasion. Cotton underwear is preferably to nylon and other airless fabric.
  • – You need to change your underwear once a day

You must change your underwear every day, since the vaginal secretion is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Bacteria can cause infection like colpitis, cystitis or uterine infections. Change your underwear twice during the menstrual periods, because the vagina releases more bacteria than usual in this period.
  • – Don’t Put Perfumes on your Vulva

The perfumes could disturb the pH balance, which results with infection. Maintain your vagina clean!
  • – Visit your Gynecologist regularly

All women should go to their gynecologist on every 6 months. This is recommended for all sexually active woman and all women that have turned 21. Every woman need to do tests for the most common infections, to do a PAP test and ultrasound scan on her uterus and ovaries. If you see your doctor regularly, he can save your life.
  • – Did you knew that you can make your vagina taste better?

Consummation of proper food can improve the taste of your vaginal juices. Eat more fruits, particularly the fruits loaded with natural sugar, including grapes, apples, mangos, etc. Avoid eating garlic, onions, spicy foods and drinking coffee and alcohol, which all have negative effect on your vaginal juices’ odor.
Bonus: You can also use baby wipes when going to the toilet. They have neutral pH balance and are free of perfumes which are dangerous for your vagina and the overall reproductive system.
