Training and development have been named by young people around the world as the most valued working benefit.
The chart below shows the percentage of millennials who named each factor as the most important, in a study of over 4,000 graduates in 75 countries.1511B42-working benefits millennials training and development statista chart

Around one-fifth of millennials named training and development as their most important benefit. Next on the list is flexible working hours, as young people look to establish a work-life balance. Completing the top three is cash bonuses, with 14% saying they would prefer money over other benefits.
Financial benefits appear throughout the list, including housing assistance (the priority of 5% of those polled), pension schemes (6%) and no benefits but higher wages (4%). As a preference, greater holiday allowance comes in at number six, while a company car takes eighth place (4%).
