such that before this,

there was no ignorance, and
afterward it came into being;

Ignorance is sustained by the five hindrances,

desires hatreds and so forth;

three misconducts,

verbal,

mental and in act arise as a result;
these hinder the advancement of beings:

it is the non-restraint of sense faculties,

the target of blame...
why the non-restraint?

it is due to the lack of mindfulness and clarity of comprehension;
What is that due to?

careless attention;
Careless attention has absence of faith in goodness as the cause,

and this is due to?
it is due to not hearing the opportune words;
what causes non-hearing?

non-hearing results when one does not associate with good friends. 🌿
