"You have changed... "

Just because you have decided to be yourself and respect yourself enough to say "no" when you are not in line with what they try to impose you.

Just because you understood that happiness depended on you and not a third person.

Just because you have learned to love yourself enough to no longer be a molded puppet like others.

They will tell you: 

you have changed... 

Just because you dare to live in the light,

And no more in the shadow of others.

Just because you choose to exist for yourself and more less to obey each other's requirements.

They will find you to this, 

less docile, 

less helpful, 

less available, 

less pleasant , 

"different"... 

Simply because now you decide that the time of profit towards you has lasted enough.

You have finally understood that you have your full place in this world and that no one has the right to adjust your personality and your freedom.

You have changed they will say and to that you will answer

No I haven't changed, I just stopped being your toy

Manipulated and used just to better meet your needs without you taking into account my opinion and my desires.

Today I haven't changed...

I "am" and "stop" flattering your ego.

Because even imperfect, 

I know my values,

Authentic, 

free, 

assertive, 

confident, 

loving and benevolent person... 

I finally allow myself to give myself the love that I deserve and to be in peace with myself.

I refuse to be the little soldier of anyone and I claim aloud that my life "is mine" and that in taking care is my duty, my essential, 

I did not change... 

I opened my conscience and granted a little more listening to the call of my soul... 

the same which gradually died in silence so as not to upset that of others.

But today my "me" woke up and awake,

Now I am

And me too "I exist"...
