behind an embrace?
What is a hug if not to communicate,
share and instill something of oneself
in another person?
A hug is to express one's existence to whom
it stands beside us,
whatever happens,
in joy and pain.
There are many types of hugs,
but the truest and most profound are
those that convey our feelings.
Sometimes a hug,
when the breath and the heartbeat become one,
fixes that magical moment into eternity.
At other times,
a hug,
if silent,
makes the soul vibrate and reveals
what we still don't know or
are afraid of knowing.
But more often than not,
a hug means detaching a small piece
of oneself to give it to the other
so that they can continue their journey
