what you lose,

I lost you and thought almost distracted,
many years that have passed,
a lot of life spent between these fingers,
many joys but too many pains .........
then suddenly the past returns,
a single "Hello" that is full of words and swells like a sponge of water .......
in that moment love resurfaces,
that child in mature bodies,
a desire to give,
to show what life teaches over time,
nothing is enough and nothing appeases us .... adolescence and lost time lead adults to return to children,
stupid at times but alive and vibrant .....
and there is beauty in your wrinkles and in mine there is a story,
a love left in suspense ...
