How beautiful when they fix something
and they can't and they have to,
when they show stubbornness,
when they look at us in secret,
when they look at us
and their eyes multiply everywhere,
when they laugh very loudly,
when they cook two eggs
and they use eighteen pots,
when they give you a gift and are embarrassed,
when they lie and it shows
and when they are sincere and not seen,
when we don't understand them and they thought it was easy,
when they're hungry and everything else can wait,
when they are sensitive to trees and leaves,
when they hold a baby in their arms
like twelve eggs,
when they play,
when they look at another woman

how beautiful when they taste of hay, talcum powder and tobacco,
how beautiful when they sleep in disarray
that seem to have fallen from the twentieth floor,
when they sing,
when they have silences surrounded by barbed wire,
when they guess,
when they surprise us,
how beautiful when they look at you
and you understand that they are about to kiss you.
How beautiful are the men with their gestures and their walking.
How beautiful are men who respect women.
