your back, while your eyes,
I am the screen from which I cannot
to break away.
Letters and phrases that almost make up
alone imagining touching you while we make love,
a story punctuated by verses and poems they created
a bond that would not have formed without them.
I write the unreal that is almost magically transformed into a book that narrates every instant of two lives not lived but perhaps felt beyond what is permitted, and as I touch
the keys I feel your warmth that brings me back to life
my thoughts turning them into our memories...
