I have tried to replace 

irreplaceable people and 

forget unforgettable people, 

I have acted on impulse, 

I have been disappointed 

by people whom I thought 

incapable of it, 

but I have disappointed people too. 

I held someone in my arms 

to protect them, 

I laughed when I didn't have to, 

I made lifelong friends. 

I loved and have been in return, 

but I have also been rejected, 

I have been loved and 

I have not known how to love. 

I screamed and 

jumped from so many joys. 

I've lived on love and 

made everlasting promises, 

but I've broken my heart 

so many times. 

I cried while listening to music 

or looking at pictures. 

I phoned just to hear a voice, 

I've already fallen in love with a smile.

I once thought 

I was dying from so much nostalgia 

and I was afraid of 

losing someone very special. 

And I still live ...
